NATIONAL MEDICAL CERTIFICATION ASSOCIATION PREPARES YOU FOR CERTIFICATION

We prepare you every step of the way. You'll learn the content you need to pass certification exams and get continuing education hours for the class the exams represent.

We have a complete process dedicated to your success

After taking one of our continuing education home study classes to learn the content of a specific subject, you will participate in a one-day live hands-on class to practice and review skills, then you take the corresponding certification exam. When you pass the exam, you earn the continuing education hours and national certification for that class - just as you would if you had attended the class for an entire program and paid full tuition for it.

STEP ONE: EVALUATION

Veterans with military healthcare Training can participate in NMCA’s continuing education and certification workshops and challenge the exams.

The NMCA can help veterans with military healthcare training

As part of the evaluation, we take a look at any previous medical training classes you've taken and or work experience to determine which ones may qualify you for this program. Even if you took the course a long time ago, don’t worry many courses and work experience may still count regardless of how long ago they were taken.

Submit proof of any previous medical training classes you've taken and or work experience via fax 877-554-5380 or email to the credentialevaluationdept@gmail.com after you register

*NOTE: The board accepts copies of diplomas or letters from training institutions as verification. If original documents are in a language other than English, English translation must accompany them. NO EXCEPTIONS

STEP TWO: ENROLL Now

it's time for you to enroll in one of our continuing education and certification class for each class you still need to complete the requirements to participate and earn a Certification in the program of your choice.
STEP THREE: TAKE THE CLASS OR CLASSES We offer flexibility; you can attend at a time that works with your schedule. Classes are offered at our many training centers during the day, evening, or on weekends.

STEP THREE: COMPLETE THE HOME STUDY CLASS OR CLASSES

After completing the home study work submit the completed practice exams via email to

STEP FOUR: YOUR CLINICAL EXAM OR CLINICAL EXTERNSHIP

Once you complete all the required home study work, depending on program you will either take our exam-prep class on-line for the clinical assessment or complete a 1-day hands-on clinical externship. In the clinical assessment test prep class we teach you all of the clinical skills you'll be tested on and drill you on them over and over. We do our best to simulate the final testing environment to make sure you'll be confident and comfortable in it.

You will take the official test-out exam during the last 2-hours of the class, through the appropriate certification board. After passing the exam, you'll earn national certification for the programs in which the exam is based. All exams are administered by a proctor from the certification board and will require that you register first.

On a rare occasion, if a student is not successful passing the exam on the first try. Then he or she will be allowed a second chance to take the exam there's no extra charge for it.

Once you complete the home study, and clinical requirement, you'll earn your certification from an approved national certification board. All that's left is for you to get your certification. After passing the CERTIFICATION EXAM, you're a certified healthcare professional! Congratulations!
