About Medical Certification Association Multi-Skilled Healthcare Technician Workshop
The Multi-Skilled Health Care Technician Certification Workshop at Medical Certification Association for Healthcare Professionals is designed to give healthcare professionals a review or refresher from previous training or experience. The workshop Consists of about 48-hours in total. (32 hours of preparatory home study and 8-16 hours of classroom/clinical 1-2 days. This workshop will prepare you to sit for the certification exam at the end of the workshop.

What will I Learn in the Multi-Skilled Healthcare Technician Workshop?
During this workshop, students will practice with their classmates to learn the various Patient Care / Multi-Skilled Technician skills they will use daily in their careers. Practice a routine venipuncture with a straight needle and winged-infusion set, a dermal puncture and a blood draw, as well as a 12-lead EKG and rhythm interpretation. Proper patient identification, the order of draw, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and emergency procedures are a few of the other topics of content covered in the Multi-Skilled Healthcare Technician Workshop.

This is a great workshop for lapsed certification or individuals that aren’t yet certified/ licensed! If you are a health care professional or International Medical Graduates (IMGs) with a background in healthcare by way of schooling or experience then you qualify for this Accelerated Continuing Education & Certification Workshop.
